Testimonials

My husband John and I recently spent two weeks touring England. We agree that our favorite day was the one we spent with Ian Henry , touring the Cotswolds. Ian took the list of things we wanted to see and put together a wonderful experience in the countryside. In addition, Ian was so incredibly pleasant. It was a pleasure to spend a day with him. I highly recommend his tour. He went out of his way to make sure we had a great tour.

Traveled to London on business and pleasure but discovering English countryside is finding a real gem. Having Ian as the driver allowed us to enjoy the scenery and discover the beauty of rural England. With Ian, we maximized our experience for we didn't have to worry where to go, parking and directions. He knew what beauty Cotswold had to offer and he was most gracious in sharing with us.
Go spend some time in the English countryside. I think you will like it ...

Could not be happier we booked our transportation with Ian at Cotswold Tours and Executive Travel! He is genuinely kind and friendly, and he is a safe and conservative driver. Great qualities to have when driving a family around. Without a doubt, I will request that Ian be our guide and driver again when we come back to England. High praises!

The best way to explore the Cotswolds is by car and we were so lucky to have Ian who is super friendly and provided a 6 star service to us. In fact I booked 2 daytrip tours, though the other trip is highly rated on Trip Advisor website, I would admit that I enjoyed our day with Ian better. He is so knowledgeable about this area and showed us 6 little lovely villages in one day which allowed us to see the best part of the Cotswold area. If you want to spend a great day in the Cotswolds book the tour with Ian, you won't regret it!

It was a highlight of our British Isles vacation touring the Cotswold's with Ian Henry. Prior to our arrival we had communicated what we were interested in seeing and Ian compiled fully. Ian knows the area very well and shared interesting background information and details that added to the tour. We found him very easy going, professional and flexible. Would definitely recommend to anyone interested.

Ian, thank you for a great day out yesterday, I thoroughly enjoyed my tour of the Cotswolds and learnt so much more about how wool has shaped the whole history of this area of outstanding natural beauty. It was great to experience many difference aspects of Gloucestershire from the quintessentially chocolate box village of Bibury with Trout travelling up and downstream, to the rolling hills where the Cotswold sheep are still grazing as they have done for hundreds of years.

The Museum of wool at Filkins is a real gem, the history of the wool trade is so well documented there and seeing how the wool is spun and turned into the finest cloth was fascinating.

Travelling on from Filkins to Burford and imagining how the sheep would have been brought down from the hills in the past and herded through the centre to new pastures at different times of the year. Taking a detour away from the main road and busy shops, looking down alleys and over walls to get a different perspective of the town was fascinating. The history is all around you with the names of the roads and the houses.

On to Broadway where the Great Warwickshire Railway will soon extend to, visualising house names that are linked to the history of the wool trade.
Back home via Cheltenham and past the Cheltenham race course, thinking that there would be some winners out of some of the horses that we had passed whilst driving and walking in this beautiful landscape.

Thank you
